You need a separate Customs Invoice form for goods staying in Colombia and goods returning after the show. These items must be packed and documented separately. Invoice must show

- total value of goods
- insurance cost 
- freight cost

DEADLINES

The following dates apply to this event.

 

1. Documentation
   Paperwork: complete and submit your shipping invoices to EFI for advanced checking
   Documents must be checked and approved before goods are shipped
   Latest date to submit documents: Monday 28 September 2026
    

2. Collection of shipments from EUROPE and USA locations.
   We will collect shipments in UK/ EU/ USA/ Canada between 30 September and 5 October LATEST
    

3. If you plan to ship by your own carrier, you will still need to follow the pre-flight checks.
   You will also need to order customs and transfer service through EFI.
   Air cargo must be LANDED in BAQ (Barranquilla) NOT LATER THAN Wednesday 7 October.
   NOTE: CTG (Cartagena) is not serviced by wide-bodied aircraft.

 

DOCUMENTS: SEPARATE SHIPMENTS

Customs in Colombia require the following items to be PACKED and DOCUMENTED separately.

These cannot be mixed in one shipment!

 

1. Goods that will RETURN/ RE-EXPORT after TOC Americas
   These will be allowed in under temporary admission, duty and tax free
    

2. Goods that will REMAIN in Colombia, including any items to be given away free of charge at TOC.
   This includes brochures, literature, magazines, promotional items (pens, hats etc).
   These will be allowed in as FINAL IMPORT and duty/ tax paid to customs.

 

SMALL SHIPMENTS FROM UK/ EUROPE

 

EFI will consolidate small shipments of non-returning goods – brochures, giveaways, promotional items – at our UK facility.  Shipments should be with us by NOT LATER THAN Monday 5 October.
