EFI Logistics has been appointed as the official freight contractor to
provide a range of transport and freight-handling solutions for this
event. EFI is the only company sanctioned to operate services on site for
this exhibition.
Vehicle Booking System
Kindly note
that direct access to the venue is restricted.
EFI will operate a vehicle booking system, with priority given to
companies on the arrival schedule. If you plan to deliver your shipment
direct to the ICC you will need to make a vehicle booking. Time slots will
be allocated as requests are received, and a vehicle pass will be sent to
you via e-mail. This must be displayed in the windscreen of the delivery
vehicle on arrival at the venue.

EFI’s duties
include the following services FREE OF CHARGE to all exhibitors:
·
Unloading and delivery of ALL shipments arriving at the ICC
to individual stand areas within Hall 3.
·
Removal and storage of empty packing materials during the
show.
·
Return and re-delivery of all packing materials at close of
show.
·
Collection of shipments from all stand areas and loading
out to transport arriving at the venue.
In addition to
the above, EFI will also provide you with the following two service
options AT A COST:
1) Advanced receiving
warehouse
There are no
storage facilities at the ICC, therefore deliveries directly to the
exhibition hall can only be made on the day of set-up.
However,
EFI can receive and hold shipments in advance of the
official move-in date up to and including Monday 24 November.
Goods sent in advance to EFI will be delivered to your stand on Wednesday
26 November, ready for you to come in and set up.
The cost for
this service will be £20 per cubic metre or per 100 kilos with a minimum
of £30 per exhibitor. This service must be ordered before delivery is
made. Full details of the advance receiving address will be sent to you on
receipt of your order.
2) Door-to-stand
collection service
EFI will collect from any UK postal address and transfer
your freight to your stand at the ICC. This costs from as little as £75
(the minimum charge). All items must be carefully packed into cartons or
suitably wrapped for overnight courier transport and clearly marked with
your company name, stand number and SSAT 2008, Hall 3, ICC, Birmingham.
